Other Wii U games joining the Nintendo Selects family are Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3 and NES Remix Pack. Fun Nintendo 3DS games Yoshi’s New Island, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Mario Party: Island Tour can also be purchased at the new low suggested retail price of $19.99 each on March 11. Additionally, a group of classics from the Wii console that can be played on Wii U will be available at the reduced Nintendo Selects price. This includes Super Mario Galaxy 2, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Mario All-Stars.

In the Kingdom of Hytopia, a fashion-obsessed realm where sartorial elegance is celebrated, an evil witch has placed a mysterious curse upon Princess Styla, casting the realm into disarray. With citizens calling for the return of a legendary trio of “Totem Heroes” to protect them, and King Tuft offering a unique reward for whosoever lifts the curse, venture into the Drablands to hunt down the witch and restore peace and stylishness to the land.

Each of the game’s 36 outfits comes with its own special abilities that help the three Link characters solve puzzles and navigate difficult terrain. For example, “Goron Garb” allows Link to swim in lava, while the “Zora Costume” helps him swim through water with greater speed.

You also have a variety of ways to explore the game across its 32 stages. You can play in solo mode along with two paper doll-like figures called “Doppels.” Or you can use an Internet connection to go online in multiplayer mode and partner with two other heroic players who also own the game. You can choose to team up with a combination of players who are and are not part of your Nintendo 3DS friend list. Finally, Download Play allows you to connect locally with two other friends who own a system in the Nintendo 3DS family, even if only one person has the game. Only by working as a team will you be able to progress through the various hazards lying in wait, but for those who master an area, bonus challenges can be unlocked for access to more valuable rewards.

To share your great acts of teamwork and skill from throughout the game with others, players can visit the Photo Bro shop managing the in-game Miiverse Gallery. As well as posting these snaps to Miiverse, you can even unlock Miiverse stamps, which you can apply to your hand-drawn creations.

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nintendo 3DS owners looking to embark on a legendary adventure will get their chance when The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes launches for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Oct. 23. One of Nintendo’s biggest critical hits at this summer’s E3 video game trade show, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes lets up to three players team up locally, via Download Play with one game card or online using a wireless Internet connection to cooperatively explore inventive dungeons and battle bosses.

The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most storied and beloved franchises, selling more than 30 million games in the U.S. alone. In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, up to three players play as Link, with each hero selecting a different outfit equipped with a special boost or ability. One outfit might grant the wearer the ability to shoot arrows, for example, while another could provide more life-saving hearts. A new Totem mechanic allows three Link characters to stack on top of each other to reach higher ground and solve puzzles. The game can also be played solo, allowing one player to rent two paper dolls to take along to complete the legendary team of three.

My Thoughts  

It looks like a fun game and I love the  Zelda games but I still don't know if this is for me . I rarely play online multiplayer games and the lack of voice chat for this type of game is troubling. I hope it's a meaty adventure with many areas to explore . We shall see

If you still haven't played the Legend of Zelda Ocarania of Time you need to download this game off the virtual console because it's wonderful and one of my favorite video games.
