New Emulator for Nintendo 3DS allows you play old Virtual Boy games in 3D

New Emulator for Nintendo 3DS allows you play old Virtual Boy games in 3D

Recently a new 3DS emulator called RED VIPER released online that allows you play Virtual Boy games on a hacked Nintendo 3DS video game system.

Nintendo released the Virtual Boy in 1995. The virtual boy was a huge failure for Nintendo (fewer than 1 million consoles were sold). The virtual boy showcased its games in stereoscopic 3d, but the graphics were very limited (red and black). The entire virtual boy library is about a dozen games (depending on the region), and the system was discontinued several months after its initial release. For more information regarding the Virtual Boy you should read the following articles : IGN , Business Insider and Game Developer (to name a few).

You can play Virtual Boy games via online emulator with the link below:

We have mixed feelings about reporting this news. We believe that making video games is an art form, and the people who make video games deserved to get paid for their work. Emulators allow people to play games without purchasing them, and in many instances (not all) emulators are illegal. It’s a shame that Nintendo never officially released the virtual boy game catalog on the Nintendo 3DS in some capacity. The Nintendo 3DS had many virtual console games (NES, SNES, Game Gear, Etc) , and the Virtual Boy would have been a great system to showcase on the Nintendo 3DS hardware. The Virtual Boy console and its games were released nearly 30 years ago , and currently no legal way exists that allows you buy or play Virtual Boy games on the Nintendo 3DS (or any other current Nintendo hardware). If you want to modify your Nintendo 3DS to play these games that is your prerogative and we won’t judge you. We won’t judge you if you play virtual boy games online via any other kind of emulator either. We currently have no plans to regularly cover emulator news, but we thought that this news was noteworthy.

Venom The Last Dance Trailer revealed by Sony

Venom The Last Dance Trailer revealed by Sony

SYNOPSIS

In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance.

Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker.

Venom: The Last Dance is scheduled to release October 25th, 2024.

Venom: The Last Dance is not confirmed to have a 3D release. That being said REALD 3D on X has posted twice about this movie (Post 1 and Post 2). Real D doesn’t post about 2D movies, and they only post about 3D movies. It is odd that the trailer, the offical poster and the official venom website do not mention a 3D release for Venom: The Last Dance. Currently we believe that a 3D release for Venom: The Last Dance is highly likely.
